My name is Casey Burrows and I teach 8th grade US History for the A-Team at Camdenton Middle School. This past year has been a challenging one but I believe that if you join me in Room 203 to explore our nation's history, we will have fun learning together and be able to face anything this year throws at us!

good morning I'm mr. Broast I'm here to teach 8th grade social studies what a lot of people, they call history but social studies is a lot more than that we cover things like psychology sociology philosophy even technically economics is part of social studies we cover all sorts of different parts about what it is to be human so I'm really excited for you to be here and to join me on this journey of love sing about humanity and what we do and how we got here for your first day of school try and bring your Chromebook if you don't have it because you haven't signed you were AUP or paid your technology fee try and get on that okay we're going to try to go paperless as possible this year it's just easier for you to keep track of your homework assignments it's easier for me to keep track of it we can't lose things as easily if they're all on one nice neat little device so try to get off at don't worry I can make paper copies available as necessary my favorite part about being a Laker probably just the people that I work with I've made some lifelong friends here since I started working at the district and I've gotten to know a lot of really wonderful people going to be here and I'm very proud of my school district and I'm happy you were here all right so I'll see you on the first day of school I'm excited to meet you
