CMS Counseling Department

Beth Bashore is the eighth  grade counselor. Beth has been in counseling since 2012 and at Camdenton Middle School since 2018. She received her Bachelor's degree from Columbia College and Master's in Counseling from Lincoln University. In 2018, she completed her Education Specialist in Administration at William Woods University.
 
Beth loves her role at Camdenton Middle School and truly feels CMS is one big family. School counseling is a fundamental part of the educational process for all students. As a counselor, it is important to provide a comprehensive, counseling program to serve all students in the areas of academic, career, and social/emotional development. As a student advocate, she recognizes the uniqueness, and personal worth of each individual while collaborating with students, parents, educators, and community members to support each student. The well being of CMS students is her greatest priority and she will strive to maintain a safe and positive atmosphere.
 

Jamin English is the seventh grade counselor. Jamin has been in counseling since 2001 and at Camdenton Middle School since 2022. He received his degree in Elementary Education from the University of Central Missouri in 2001 and a degree in Guidance and Counseling through Lincoln University in 2005.  Jamin and his wife live on a farm outside of town and have two boys.  When he is not at work he enjoys camping, spending time with family, and working on cars.
