New Morning Drop-Off/Afternoon Pick-Up Routes

Laker Families:

We have exciting news! Construction is officially starting soon on our new Early Childhood Center FEMA project between Dogwood and Hawthorn Elementaries.

Crews are fencing off the construction zone behind Dogwood in the Hawthorn parking lot this week. Starting tomorrow morning, drop-off routes will change:

• Dogwood Morning Drop-Off: Drop-off will take place in front of Dogwood only.

• Families with Students at Both Schools: We recommend dropping off at Dogwood first, then proceeding to Hawthorn. 

• The Hawthorn drop-off line will now route through the parking lot as shown on the attached map.

• Hawthorn Elementary will still have the crosswalk option for parent pick-up. 

• Expect Traffic Delays: Please allow extra time and drive carefully as traffic adjusts to higher volume in front of Dogwood and the new campus routes. We appreciate your patience and cooperation!
